BETA’s targeted Employee Safety and Workers’ Compensation education and training programs are focused on minimizing disruption in the workplace resulting from work related injuries and offer a range of innovative safety and savings programs to diverse healthcare communities throughout California.

Each participating member in BETA's Workers' Compensation program will have access to an employee safety expert who will work to build a customized Service Plan focused on the specific needs of your organization and aimed at reducing injuries, protecting employees and controlling costs.

  • Hazard Identification and Risk Evaluations
    • Collect and Evaluate Existing Workplace Hazard Information
    • Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP)
    • Written Program Requirements Assessment
  • Plans, Policy and Program Development
    • Just Culture Training
    • Safety and Health Program
    • Ergonomics and Manual Material Handling
    • Safe Patient Handling Program
    • Exposure Control Plan
    • Heat-Related Illness Prevention
    • Workplace Violence Prevention Program
  • Technical Assistance
    • Compliance with Cal-OSHA Policies
    • Job Hazard and System or Environmental Analysis

Our goal is to help ensure that every decision our members make drives a positive outcome for employees and their families.

Eligible members in the Workers' Compensation program can participate in the CARE (Commitment, Accountability, Responsibility, Engagement) Program. The CARE Program is designed to assist member organizations in meeting the goals of their Service Plan by distributing funds towards employee safety-directed expenditures.
