TeamSTEPPS

Team training is an essential ingredient to success in the healthcare setting. Initially introduced to the defense industry and subsequently adopted in the airline industry, crew resource management principles and techniques translate to the healthcare arena. When clinicians work together as a highly effective team, patients are safer and receive higher quality care. TeamSTEPPS stands for Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety.

Teamwork principles, including collaboration and communication, will be delivered through BETA's TeamSTEPPS curricula, which are designed to prepare your designated facility-based trainers to deliver course content to your clinical teams.  The goal of this training is to develop your organization's internal expertise in teamwork skills and optimize your team’s performance so they will be able to respond quickly and effectively to whatever situations arise.

BETA has scheduled a complimentary regional two-day training for 2022 below and registration for the two-day training will be covered by BETA.  To register, please complete and submit the Opt-In and Readiness Assessment to Lisa Matheny at lisa.matheny@betahg.com.   Upon approval, you will be provided a link to register for the training.
