BETA Risk Management Program Funds

Home » Risk Management and Safety » BETA Risk Management Program Funds

The risk management programs funded by BETA Healthcare Group are as varied as our member base. Some members and insureds utilize funds to underwrite the cost of attending the annual American Society Risk Management Conference or other risk management educational forums; others launch new internal risk assessment efforts or lecture series addressing key patient safety concerns.

The common denominator—each program that receives funding helps reduce risk and improve reliability in our healthcare systems. To learn more about our Education Funds, please follow the links below. Every BETA Healthcare Group member and insured can tap into the Risk Management Resource Fund, a pool of money set aside to help fund patient safety/risk reduction activities or support the training efforts of its team members.

The ground rules are simple: You propose a program or initiative that will help your nurses and/or physicians deliver better care with less risk. We review each request individually and work with you to identify how the funds can best be applied, with final funding levels based on a percentage of your facility’s annual contributions or premiums.

For many members, these additional insights have been valuable for medically complex or politically challenging cases.
