Simulation in Healthcare: Practice Makes Perfect

Mark Meyer, M.D.
Dr. Meyer is the medical director of Kaiser Permanente’s Emergency Department Critical Event Team Training Program (CETT) program in Southern California. Dr. Meyer has a special interest in patient safety for pediatric emergency department patients and recently completed a research study demonstrating simulation as a tool to decrease the incidence of medication error in these patients. He is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
