We are currently accepting applications for the following position(s):
Under direct supervision of the VP of Information Services, helps troubleshoot software and hardware problems for end users and provides general assistance to the Information Services Department
Specific Responsibilities:
Create and maintain inventory of computer hardware and software
Perform basic troubleshooting of computer software and hardware questions
Install PC software and hardware components, including RAM, video cards, internal modems, and motherboards
Keep IS procedures updated
Keep IS related Access databases updated, including TrackIt
Keep extranet accounts current
Process invoices for payment
Monitor on-line education enrollment and training
Perform new employee computer and phone orientation
Monitor printers to ensure sufficient toner and paper
Internet research as required on specific topics
Provide clerical support to IS department staff
Monitor check-out resources (laptops and projectors)
Back-up telephone and clerical support for other departments
Special data entry projects on an as needed basis
Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a help desk technician or a recent college graduate with a degree in computer science
Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Office XP and Office 2010(Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook and OneNote)
