BETA Risk Management Authority (BETARMA) and its governing board, the BETA Council, are pleased to introduce a new section on our website devoted to governance. In making the decision to discuss several important issues on our public website, including BETARMA's policy on compensation, we wish to demonstrate that BETARMA, as a California joint powers authority, conducts all aspects of its activities in an ethical and legal manner. We have included a variety of documents on topics we believe will allow our members and the public to understand and appreciate how we operate and why BETARMA has been so successful since its inception in 1979.
